Rosewill Thor XL-ATX Full Tower Gaming Case Review

Rosewill Thor Exterior Impressions

Rosewill Thor XL-ATX Gaming Case Packaging

As standard with almost all cases, this one comes packaged with thick foam blocks surrounding it and a plastic bag surrounding it.

Rosewill Thor XL-ATX Gaming Case Side

Popping the Thor out of its protective casing we have the side of the case with its 230mm fan facing us. While I’m unsure about the X-shaped Mesh extrusion on the side panel, it doesn’t look bad.

A concern I do have is that the side 230mm fan will actually block tower coolers. Later on in the review I will show you that this is not the case, and larger tower coolers like the Arctic Cooling Freezer 13, Zalman CNPS9900 MAX & Prolimatech Super Mega all fit comfortably with the side panel fan installed.

Rosewill Thor XL-ATX Gaming Case Rear

Here’s the back of the Rosewill Thor; the top holes are grommets for water cooling tubes. They can fit up to 7/16″ tubing or 1/2″ tubing if you remove the grommets. Either will be a tight fit.

Rosewill Thor XL-ATX Gaming Case Front

Here’s the front of the Thor. Everything is this mesh like design, even the side struts feature this design. Very nice, not overtly flashy, but still not a basic look.

A good balance if I do say so myself.
