The picture shown above with the big screen TV and the PC game title Race Driver GRID is part of the 3D Stereovision Demo that will be shown during the event. This demo shows off the new stereoscopic 3D hardware and software that has never been shown publicly before. You can play some of the hottest new games with new 3D glasses that are sycn’d with brand new Mitsubishi and View Sonic LCD displays. We took a second to try out GRID and found it to be really fun and the 3D glasses worked great and were much nicer than ones we have seen over the past year.

NVIDIA NVISION 08 signage is all over downtown San Jose and nearly every light pole in the heart of the city is representing the event. This makes sense as Mayor Chuck Reed and the San Jos City Council presented NVIDIA Corporation with a proclamation declaring August 20 through 27 as “Visual Computing Week” in San Jos. The proclamation recognized NVIDIA’s contributions to the global and local economy.

If you are coming to NVISION 08 then you should get ready for a great show in an area that can easily support the event. Thousands of people, from a wide breadth of industries and interests, are expected to meet at the San Jos McEnery Convention Center in Downtown San Jos for NVISION 08 during August 25 to August 27.
