Overclocking The MSI N560GTX-448

MSI Afterburner 2.2 beta 9

Over the weekend MSI released Afterburner 2.2 beta 9 and we tried it out on the MSI N560GTX-448 Twin Frozr III Power Edition video card to overclock it. The application was easy to use, but we were short on time and didn’t have much time to play with any voltage adjustments for this review. We still managed to get it fairly high considering the amount of time we had to do this review.

MSI N560GTX-448 Overclock

The highest we were able to get the MSI N560GTX-448 Power Edition video card up to without any voltage increase was 850MHz on the core clock, 1720MHz on the shader clock and 1000MHz on the memory clock.

With the voltage increased by +40mV we were able to get 890MHz rock solid on the core, which puts the shader clock at 1780MHz.

This overclock was enough to get the MSI N560GTX-448 Power Edition to perform better than the GeForce GTX 570! This card still has plenty of overclocking room in it, but we ran out of time!
