NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1080 Pascal Video Card Pictured?

Could the image below be the final design for the NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1080 video card fan shroud? Weeks ago we posted up news and images of a freshly machined GPU cooler fan shroud and this appears to be the final version. We think the design looks pretty nice and it has an edgy look to it and are happy that VideoCardz posted up the image.

To design something like this takes a ton of time and a good chunk of money, so we doubt that the photos are fake or done by a fan for fun. Also, keep in mind that this would just be the reference design fan shroud. Most third party Add-In-Board (AIB) partners use their own GPU cooler design, so if you don’t like the ‘polygon’ design it won’t matter too much.

The NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1080 is expected by many to debut at or ahead of Computex 2016. It is believed to use the NVIDIA GP104 ‘Pascal’ GPU and have 2560 CUDA cores along with 8GB of GDDR5 or GDDR5X memory.
