NVIDIA is expected to fully introduce its Pascal architecture at the GPU Technology Conference that runs April 4th-7th in San Jose. That means next week will be a big news week for gamers that are hoping to learn about NVIDIA’s newest GPU architecture. It doesn’t come as a shock then that purported images of NVIDIA’s fan shroud for the GeForce GTX 1080 and GeForce GTX 1070 video cards could have leaked out.

Could This Be The NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1080 Fan Shroud?

The images have appeared on Videocardz and WCCFTech in the past 24 hours and the fancy angular shrouds appear to be real, but that doesn’t mean that doesn’t mean they are from NVIDIA. Who would take the time to machine fake blocks though? Some still firmly belive that NVIDIA will not be calling this series the 1080/1070 due to the confusion of 1080P displays in a world that has moved to 4K and beyond for high-end devices.
