Intel SSD 670p 2TB SSD Review

ATTO & CrystalDiskMark

ATTO v4.01.0f1

ATTO is one of the oldest drive benchmarks still being used today and is still very relevant in the SSD world. ATTO measures transfers across a specific volume length. It measures raw transfer rates for both reads and writes and places the data into graphs that can be very easily interpreted. The test was run with the default runs of 0.5KB through 64MB transfer sizes with the total length being 256MB.

ATTO Disk Benchmark:

Intel SSD 670p ATTO Disk Benchmark

Benchmark Results: On ATTO Disk Benchmark the Intel SSD 670p 2TB model is hit speeds of up 3.21 GB/s read and 2.88 GB/s write as our primary boot drive filled to 55% capacity.

Benchmark Results: If you look at 128KB performance the Intel SSD 670p 2TB drive performance comes in at the back of the pack.

CrystalDiskMark 7.0.0 x64

CrystalDiskMark is a small benchmark utility for drives and enables rapid measurement of sequential and random read/write speeds. Note that CDM only supports Native Command Queuing (NCQ) with a queue depth of 32 (as noted) and shows the highest score of five runs.

CystalDiskMark:

Peak Performance Preset

Intel SSD 670p CrystalDiskMark - Peak

Real Performance Preset

Intel SSD 670p CrystalDiskMark - Real

Benchmark Results: The Intel SSD 670p 2TB NVMe SSD finished this benchmark at 3,321.27 MB/s read and 3,050.49 MB/s write on CrystalDiskMark 7! The Random 4K performance at QD1 was 74 MB/s read and 171.11 MB/s write. The official speed ratings on CrystalDiskmark are up to 3,500 MB/s read and 2.700 MB/s write. We are short on read and over on write, but pretty close to the drives rated performance metrics.

Let’s look at some other benchmarks!
