benchmark from Futuremark, newly designed for Windows Vista and
DirectX10. It includes two new graphics tests, two new CPU tests,
several new feature tests, and support for the latest hardware. 3DMark
Vantage is based on a completely new rendering engine, developed
specifically to take full advantage of DirectX10, the new graphics API
from Microsoft.

3dmark Vantage Benchmark Results

Benchmark Results: The 2010 Intel HD Graphics in the ASUS K42F appear to be better than the Intel Graphics Media Accelerator 4500MHD used in the HP DV4-1555dx notebook as you can see from the chart above, but they are no competition for the Intel HD Graphics 3000 in the Sandy Bridge processor. The AMD Phenom II X4 N930 laptop uses discrete Radeon HD 5650 graphics and does very well in this benchmark. Notice that the overall score is very close between the Radeon HD 5650 mobile GPU and the Intel Core i7-2820QM CPU. The Intel Sandy Bridge CPU score is off the chart!
