Infinity Blade Sword Lands in Fortnite

By

Yesterday Epic Games announced that it was ending support for three Infinity Blade games. At the end of the blog post about support ending there was a little teaser that fans might find Infinity Blade themed stuff in other places along with a video for Fortnite’s latest season.

We wondered if that might mean the Infinity Blade sword would land in the game, the answer is yes. Fortnite Patch 7.01 landed and with that patch comes the Infinity Blade sword as a playable weapon.

The catch is that the Infinity Blade is only offered in one location and there is only one of them in the game. That means only one person gets to use it and lots of people are there trying to free it from its stone. The sword is located on Polar Peak in every match reports GameSpot.

If you can procure the sword, it gives you double health and shields. Each time you kill with it will give you 50 health, and the sword lets you move faster than other players. It also destroys structures and players quickly. The catch is you can only have the Infinity Blade in your inventory, all other weapons and items are dropped when you pick it up.
