Epic Games Ends Support for Three Infinity Blade Games

Fans of the Infinity Blade games on mobile devices have some bad news to deal with. Epic Games has announced that as of 12/10/2018 it will no longer offer three Infinity Blade games for purchase. Current owners will be able to continue to play the games and download them from the account that owns the games for the foreseeable future.

Epic says that over the next few months it will continue to support Infinity Blade III with updated Clash Mobs and some other surprises. In-app purchase options have been removed from the games.

As for why the games have been pulled, Epic offered this statement. “The Infinity Blade series will always hold a special place for me personally and for Epic as a whole,” Donald Mustard, Global Creative Director, said, “Its always bittersweet to say goodbye, but we are excited for Spyjinx and what the future holds!”

Epic closes saying that fans should keep their eyes peeled, Infinity Blade might turn up in places you don’t expect. The blog post ends with a trailer for Fortnite Season 7. Is that a hint that something Infinity Blade will turn up in Fortnite?
