The S.T.A.L.K.E.R.: Call of Pripyat benchmark uses the XRAY 1.6 Engine that was partially developed by the some of the same people behind the 4A Metro 2033 engine. The XRAY engine leverages DirectX 11 for GPU tessellation to improve performance and features HDR rendering, parallax mapping, soft shadows, motion blur, weather effects and day/night cycles.

We once again cranked up the settings to test how the EVGA GeForce GTX 570 HD Classified would perform against the others we have put on this bench.
S.T.A.L.K.E.R. CoP chart
The EVGA GeForce GTX 570 HD Classified once again is at the top of the pack but not by nearly as much of a margin as the other benchmarks. In this case is performed 13% and 16% better than the HD 6970 but either card would give you playable frame rates for this title even running at 2560 x 1600 resolution.
