Test Setup
Today I’ll be using my Intel Core i7 testbed. Windows Vista Ultimate x64 was used with service pack 1 installed. The latest Nvidia drivers, 180.84, were used for testing. The G.Skill memory was run at 1600MHz with 9-9-9-24 timings and 1.5vdimm. For the overclocking tests vcore was boosted to 1.325v, the vQPI boosted to 1.4v, and the vDIMM boosted to 1.65v.
