Silencer 750 Quad Crossfire Edition

Today, we are looking a great little power supply released from PC Power and Cooling; the Silencer 750 Quad Crossfire Edition. I have heard many good things about this series from PC Power and Cooling with their rock solid and quiet designs, so Im going into this with high expectations.

PP&C says that Silencer 750 Quad Crossfire Edition is certified to handle the power requirement of a pair of ATI HD 2900 XT video cards, and its sibling SLI Edition (dressed in black) is certified for a pair of GeForce 8800 GTX cards. Why call it a 750 Quad, well the quad part comes in due to the fact that it has 4 PCIe power connectors, 2x 6 pin and 2x 6+2pin, witch is need for the real power hungry video cards out today. With an average street price of $160 will the old adage you get what you pay for hold true and not buckle under the stress of high end video cards? Lets find out shall we.
