Unboxing The Rosewill Thor Case

Rosewill Thor XL-ATX Gaming Case Box Front

Here’s the front box of the Rosewill Thor — a nice imposing look they have going on there. Do note that this was the actual shipping box as well, but it is double thick on the inside so the case was fine even though it has nicks on the outside.

Overall the box is absolutely massive; and it’s no light weight at 34Lbs. Although, this is also one of the largest tower cases on the market. So that’s a contributing factor.

Rosewill Thor XL-ATX Gaming Case Box Side

Here’s the side of the box. The back and the other side are exactly the same so no need to actually show those off. Overall for being shipped in its box the Thor came in excellent condition. We’ll see that later on, though.

Rosewill Thor XL-ATX Gaming Case Accessories

Here is the accessory kit that came with the Thor. It included:

  • Manual
  • 1 5.25″ Bay to 3.5″ Bay Adapter
  • 1 Non-slip rubber pad
  • 6 Black Zip ties
  • 1 Motherboard Speaker
  • 14 Motherboard Standoffs
  • 14 Motherboard Screws
  • 24 3.5″ / 2.5″ HDD/SSD Screws
  • 4 PSU Screws
  • 4 FDD Screws
  • 8 Fan Screws

That’s just about enough screws for anything you want to put into this case. The only thing to really note about this is that the fan screws are only needed if you want to install 2 fans at the top of the case instead of the included 230mm fan. The bottom fan mount is tooless.
