Testing Procedure:

All testing was done on a fresh install of Windows XP Professional build 2600 with Service Pack 2 and DirectX 9.0c. All benchmarks were completed on the desktop using ASUS Probe while the system was running Folding @ Home, Sandra Burn-In, and Super Pi. Room temperature was kept at 20C during all testing.

First up is the idle temperatures!

Intel Temperature Results at Idle

The Nautilus 500 was able to beat our the HydroCool 200EX by 1C when set to high and they performed the same on low speed. Will the same be true at load? let’s find out.

Intel Temperature Results at Load

Under full load we see the Nautilus 500 come in 2C lower than the HydroCool 200EX, which is a good thing. On low it also performs 1C better than the HydroCool 200EX.
