Overclocking Results

To kick things off I started with CAS 7 for overclocking. Keeping all the voltages at what Corsair would deem “stock” ratings I pushed the sticks as far as possible.

It took a little convincing and I would hardly call this stable but it was able to complete the Sandra 2009 Memory bandwidth test. Pushing up a whopping 33.52GB/s I was very impressed.

Switching over to CAS8 I was able to gain another 56MHz out of the kit. At this point I was being limited by my cooling. My uncore/Northbridge speeds were already above 4GHz and I couldn’t feed it anymore voltage as the chip was idling around 60 Celsius.
