Citra is a team of gaming geeks that created a 3DS emulator for the PC called Citra. The same group has now announced that it has an emulator for the Nintendo Switch ready to go called Yuzu. The new game emulator has launched only 10 months after the Switch launched.
Zelda: Breath of the Wild is already playable with an emulator because it was launched on Wii U and the Switch. With the launch of Yuzu, gamers can now play any of the cool Switch exclusive games they want on their PC.
There aren’t a lot of details on the Yuzu emulator right now, but word is that the Citra emulator that the team designed for the 3DS was very easy to use and worked without issue reports PC Gamer. The presumption is that the Yuzu emulator will be just as functional and easy to use.
You can bet that Nintendo won’t be happy about the emulator and may try and force it to be taken down. The Switch is Nintendo’s bread and butter right now and it certainly won’t want anything that might impact sales out there.
