Yahoo! to Stream NFL Games

The National Football League and Yahoo! reached a deal to show pro football games on the Internet to fans overseas. Through a plan called NFL Game Pass on Yahoo! Sports, nearly every NFL game can be watched live and in its entirety outside North America beginning this Sunday. The agreement marks the first time the NFL has made a full season of games available on the Web. It sounds like a really great idea, but the $250 price seems a bit crazy.
According to a press release Friday, the online subscription service will cost $24.99 a week or $249.99 for the entire 17-week NFL regular season. Each game will also be available in archived format up to 24 hours after its conclusion.
