This will certainly be a welcomed feature to businesses and individuals that will want to upgrade to Windows 7 and still have the ability to use all of their existing programs. It is always a bummer to upgrade the OS only to find half of your software will now not work!
XP Mode runs using Microsoft’s Virtual PC software, but unlike many virtual machines, it blends unobtrusively into your desktop, with XP-compatibility Windows happily living alongside Windows 7 windows, with no obtrusive differences.
