VIA Announces the CN800 Chipset

As with other VIA chipsets the CN800 uses a traditional north and south bridge configuration. The CN800 can be paired up with VIA?s VT8237R for SATA RAID, high definition audio and Gigabit Ethernet.

The CN800 chipset should be available to manufacturers later this month.
