TVC Holdings says selling stake in Havok to Intel for $21 Million

Intel has signed a definitive agreement to acquire Havok , a provider of software and services used by digital media creators in game development. Irish venture capital firm TVC Holdings said on Monday it had agreed to sell its stake in software provider Havok Inc. to Intel for around $21 million.

According to Intel, the acquisition will enable developers in the digital animation and game communities to take advantage of Intels innovation and technology leadership in the creation of digital media. TVC Holdings said in a statement the deal was expected to be closed in five days and it would sell its stake of just over 27 percent to Intel.
