Comparison Chart: When comparing the Toshiba HG2 256GB SSD to the competition, it had an average read speed just behind the OCZ Vertex 2 Pro and Vertex LE 100GB SSDs. The average write speed was 171MB/s, which was enough to out-perform the Intel X250M Gen 2 160GB SSD. The burst rate of 212MB/s was also ahead of the Intel mainstream SSD, but behind the other drives we tested it against.
