Three Days Left To Claim Free Battlefield 4 DLC
In anticipation of Battlefield 1, EA has gone ahead and made all of the Battlefield 4 Expansion Packs available for free to users who own the core game. Premium Users once paid a hefty premium for access to these packs and I am sure that some of them will be a bit miffed by this, but I don’t find there to be an issue, as these packs have been out for months to years. The take away is that they will be attracting casuals back to the game, as most fans of the series probably have the Expansion Packs. You can find Battlefield 4 for about $20 right now on Origin, so if you’ve ever wanted to try the game, but were turned off by the price of all of the content, now might be the perfect time to jump aboard.
Head over to the EA Road To Battlefield 1 website for more information on the promotion. Unfortunately, Origin is required in order to access the downloads, but to be fair, EA does offer free content through Origin on a regular basis and it is their platform for software distribution. The promotion lasts until September 19, so claim your free content ASAP.
