Shuttle to launch a new SFF at CeBIT

By

Shuttle plans to add another SFF to their current product line come CeBIT this year. The new form factor supposedly will be smaller and quieter than existing XPC products. The fact still remains though, you can only get a computer with an optical disc drive so small within reasonable costs and current technology constraints. Could this mean yet another “Pandora Box” (AOpen MiniPC)?

“We have introduced the world’s first SFF PC five years ago and thus have invented the Small Form Factor,” says Melanie Liu and continues: “The time to set another milestone has arrived.” A new Form Factor will help Shuttle to make the new Shuttle XPCs even smaller and even more quiet with special regard to the living room, where Shuttle XPCs can seamlessly be integrated. Be prepared to get in touch with Home Entertainment right at the Shuttle booth C36 in hall 2 from March 9 to March 15, 2006.
