Samsung has pulled the wraps off a pair of new Chromebooks that are called the Chromebook 4 and Chromebook 4S. The new machines bring sleeker designs and improved performance to the Chromebook line. Samsung says the machine is perfect for users looking for a portable, reliable, and cost-effective way to tap into the Google experience.
Chromebook 4 has an 11.6-inch screen and weighs 2.6 pounds. Chromebook 4+ has a 15.6-inch screen while being thin and weighing 3.75 pounds. Both devices meet eight military standards for temperature, dust, and shock resistance.
Chromebook 4 has 12.5 hours of battery live. The Chromebook 4+ offers up to 10.5 hours of battery life. The machines come with up to 64GB of storage and 6GB of memory. The CPU is a Celeron N4000. The machines charge USB-C and supports output to a 4k display.
