Russia Makes Gas-Powered Boots That do 22 mph!!

By

Gordeyev, a specialist in airplane piston engines, has developed a gasoline-powered boot that can take you up to 22mph! They are said to look like pogo sticks that strap to your shins, and they work on the same principle as the air-cushioned basketball shoe. I don’t know how much these cost or if they will ever be sold, but I’d love to try them out! Heck, just imagine if these were available a couple years ago and Johnny Knoxville got his hands on a pair!

A test runner once topped out at 21.7 miles per hour, despite the risk of being sent off-balance. The tanks in the shoes hold a third of a cup of gasoline each and will take the runner three miles; that means the boots get about 70 miles per gallon
