Rumor: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1050 Ti Coming Next Week For $139

By

Rumors about the NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1050 Ti and GeForce GTX 1050 have been floating around for weeks, but a new slide posted up on VideoCardz says that the launch is next week! The slide shows the NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1050 Ti will have 768 CUDA cores with 4GB of memory and a suggested retail price of $139. The NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1050 will have just 640 CUDA cores and 2GB of memory, but will cost just $109. Both cards have a 75W TDP rating and will be released on October 25th, 2016.

These cards will likely be aimed at the MOBA players that are looking for a good entry-level graphics card that won’t break the bank. Performance numbers haven’t been leaked out too bad yet, but we have a feeling that these cards should do okay for games like DOTA 2, Overwatch, League of Legends, CS: GO and other such titles with low-to-medium graphics settings on 1920 x 1080 Full HD displays. The NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1060 3GB graphics card will likely remain of more interest to series gamers as it has 384 more CUDA cores with more TMUs, ROPs and a wider memory bus for $199. Hopefully our video card benchmarking guru, Nathan Kirsch, will get his hands on the new cards and put them to the test very soon.
