Rumor Mill: Google to enter TV Advertising?

Another day, another Google rumor… This time, Slashdot found a blog that indicates Google will be entering the Television Advertising market. It sounds like the blogger knows some facts, then is drawing his own conclusion. Very interesting none-the-less as we all know that Google could do anything with the way their stock prices are…
This would usher in a new era for the venerable medium, creating a tidal wave of revenue for the networks, while solidifying Google’s position in the advertising industry. Cringely develops this prediction based on his belief that Google is developing a network of data centers to be placed around the globe, which would be used to serve television commercials in addition to its current online content.
