A new rumor is going around that the Project Scorpio console from Microsoft might get its first public debut this week. There have been enough tidbits gleaned over the months about Project Scorpio that we already know what to expect about the console. Project Scorpio isn’t tipped to be a console that gets its own exclusive games, rather the console is expected to be rather like the PS4 Pro in that it plays existing Xbox One games with better graphics.

An interesting tidbit for gamers that has surfaced now claims that Red Dead Redemption 2 will be used to preview the Project Scorpio console. The game is expected to be one of the big focuses at E3 when June rolls around, but the first look at the game in action may well come with the Project Scorpio console.

The tip about Project Scorpio getting its first public appearance this week came from what Metro.co.uk claims to be two different reliable twitter sources over the weekend. While those rumors started making rounds another rumor came claiming that the main games Microsoft will be using to show of the console this year will include Star Wars: Battlefront II, the next game in the Forza franchise, and Red Dead Redemption 2.

Many fans of the Red Dead Redemption franchise expected that the first look at the new game this side of the trailer would come at E3 this summer. It now sounds as if the first look at the game might actually come this week. Red Dead fans who somehow missed the trailer can check it out below.
