Android TV micro-console selected as Engadgets Best Gaming and Peoples Choice winner, earning Razers fifth consecutive CES Best of accolade

Razer Forge TV combines Android and PC Gaming for the Living Room

Jan. 8, 2015: LAS VEGAS (CES 2015) Razer, a world leader in connected devices and software for gamers, took top honors at the International Consumer Electronics Show (CES) with its Razer Forge TV. The company has now won an official Best of CES award for five straight years, a record in the 48-year history of the storied tradeshow.

Engadget, the official awards partner at CES 2015, selected the Razer Forge TV as the winner for the Best Gaming product at the show. The device also won Peoples Choice by way of an open public vote. Razers past Best of CES honors included Peoples Voice in 2011 and 2012; Best of Show, Best Gaming and Peoples Voice in 2013; and Best PC and Peoples Choice in 2014.

Razer Forge TV was also acknowledged by GottaBeMobile, Android Central, Expert Reviews and Ubergizmo for its innovation and was Digital Trends finalist in the Gaming category.

Unlike other solutions, Razer Cortex: Stream is compatible with most popular PC brand components including NVIDIA and AMD and can support Directx9 games and higher from any publisher.

Razers two other announcements from CES 2015 the Nabu X social wearable and Open Source Virtual Reality (OSVR) also stood out from a crowded field of new technology. The Nabu X won TechRadars Best Fitness Tech and Toms Guides Readers Choice awards. OSVR in turn took Reviewed.coms Editors Choice, TechRadars Peoples Choice, and Stuff.tvs Top Wearable Tech awards and was selected by Popular Science in its Best on the Showroom Floor.
