Razer Edge Gaming Tablet For Pre-Order On March 1st

Razer has announced today, that it will have the Edge Gaming Tablet up for pre-order on March 1st. We got a chance to check out this tablet at CES this past January, and it is definitely one powerful tablet. The basic Edge tablet, which starts at $999, has an Intel i5 CPU with 64GB SSD storage, while the Edge Pro has an Intel i7 CPU with either 128GB or 256GB SSD storage. Expect to see the Edge accessories available with this March 1st pre-order.

These high end gaming tablets will be available Razer’s online store, Amazon, or Best Buy in the US, or Razer’s online store and Best Buy in Canada. Razer is not giving a specific date on when these units will ship, but expect them to arrive on your doorstep later in the month of March. Check out Razer’s website for specific availability.

The most powerful tablet in the world is also already one of the most decorated of its kind, with the Razer Edge claiming eight awards at the 2013 International Consumer Electronics Show (CES), including CNETs Best of Show award, where it beat more than 20,000 other products.
