PS3 Servers for Uncharted 2, Uncharted 3, and The Last of Us to Go Dark

Fans of Naughty Dog classics like Uncharted 2, Uncharted 3, and The Last of Us who still play those games in multiplayer mode on the PS3 will soon lose that ability. After a decade of operations, servers for those games will go dark on September 3, 2019, at 5 pm PT.

All Naughty Dog servers for games on the PS3 will go dark at that time. To commemorate the decade long anniversary and to celebrate the games from now through September 3, 2019, all multiplayer service will continue and all multiplayer DLC for the games on the PS3 is free to play.

That includes all gameplay and vanity items for all players. Naughty Dog says that the free DLC is offered to all players whether you’ve been active on the multiplayer servers or just want to play one last time for old time sake.

Naughty Dog wrote, “Uncharted and The Last of Us multiplayer on the PS3 are defining entries in Naughty Dogs history and weve been honored to support the passionate communities that have grown around them for almost a decade. We have so many fond memories from playing alongside you throughout the years.”
