NVIDIA Shows Off HairWorks in The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt

NVIDIA GameWorks has published a new video showcasing how powerful NVIDIA HairWorks is when it comes to simulating and rendering fur and/or hair. The tool was designed in order to aid developers with the task of making more lifelike and realistic hair than has previously been possible in games. The Witcher 3 demo has wolves that contain approximately 200,000 strands of fur. Riley, the combat dog in Call of Duty: Ghosts, was also designed with NVIDIA HairWorks.
The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt releases February 24 for PC, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.
