NVIDIA SHIELD Now $299 After Last Minute Price Adjustment – Available June 27th
NVIDIA confirmed in a blog post this morning that SHIELD will be available on June 27th at a price of $299. When it was first announced the price point was $349, so this is a $50 reduction on the Android powered 5-inch screened gaming device. If you’ve already pre-ordered SHIELD don’t freak out, you’ll be charged the new, lower price. NVIDIA stated that the change was made after the company received feedback from thousands of gamers that if SHIELD was $299, we’d have a home run on our hands after being announced for pre-order back in May.
