NVIDIA GeForce GTX 780 Video Card Performance Numbers Leaked

By

Loyal NVIDIA GeForce Video Card fans are going to be pretty excited here in a second! The NVIDIA GeForce 700 series is expected to launch next month with the introduction of the GeForce GTX 780 and GeForce GTX 770. The next-generation graphics cards are called ‘GeForce Titan’ and it looks like they will be launching from the top down. The flagship single GPU card will be the GeForce GTX 780 and it is said to have 2688 GPU cores and 6GB GDDR5 memory on the 384-bit Bus running at 5.2GHz. The Chinese website PCinLife has what they are claiming is a 3DMark 11 screen shot of the performance of one GeForce GTX 780 video card with the Extreme preset. That card was able to score X7107 points on a system powered by an Intel Core i7-2600K processor. If true, that is a pretty damn good score as an overclocked ASUS GeForce GTX 680 TOP Edition video card scores just around X3800 points on the Legit Reviews test rig. Who knows if this image is real and if it is really of a GeForce GTX 780, but it would make things interesting if it is!
