NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1660 Ti Graphics Card Arrives February 15th

NVIDIA looks like they may have a late Valentine’s Day present for gamers that want the latest and greatest graphics card for under $300. Our long time friends over at HardOCP say that their sources have told them that the NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1660 Ti will launch on February 15 at $279. After the dust settles from the GeForce GTX 1660 Ti launch, NVIDIA is expected to launch the GeForce GTX 1660 for $229 in early March at $229 with the GeForce GTX 1650 coming later that month for $179. There is even an image floating around the internet (shown below) that is supposedly from an NVIDIA tech day with media that shows ‘GTX Turing’ and ‘GTX 166’ on it.

GeForce GTX 1660 Ti Media Teaser

These three new cards are expected to use the latest NVIDIA Turing GPUS, but lack real-time raytracing capabilities since they don’t have RT cores. The GeForce GTX 1050 Ti is expected to live on at a reduced price. These four cards should allow NVIDIA to have a good grasp on the $129-$279 graphics card market that is popular for mainstream gamers and eSports players. Performance results from the GeForce GTX 1660 Ti running Ashes of the Singularity have also leaked out. That leak shows the GTX 1660 Ti scoring 7,400 points at the High 1080P preset, which is about 1,200 points higher than the GeForce GTX 1060. Good results, but less than 100 people a day play this game title and it’s mostly all review sites/channels and manufacturers using it as a benchmark. That said, we look forward to the GeForce GTX 1660 Ti launching and trying it out independently.
