NVIDIA announced the GeForce 9800 GTX+ this morning when ATI announced the Radeon HD 4850. We covered the Radeon HD 4850 here and have since worked out our drivers issue and the card is being benchmarked along with the GeFOrce 9800 GTX+! We pulled off the heat sink on the GeForce 9800 GTX+ and saw something we didn’t expect, a 55nm GPU looking back at us. Seems NVIDIA has been working hard lately and was able to shrink their G92 die down. No wonder the MSRP on the card is $229. Check out the pictures below and head to the forums to comment. At NVIDIA, we have always taken care of the value conscious gamer. After all, we invented the perfect gamers card with the GeForce 2 MX in 2000. And weve never stopped since the GeForce 6600 GT, 7600 GT and 8800 GT are some of the most popular graphics cards in history. Today we take it up one more notch with the GeForce 9800 GTX+. At $229, it offers unbeatable value for value conscious gamers.
