NVIDIA GeForce 9600 GT Video Card Features – Launch Close

ChileHardware published slides yesterday claiming the GeForce 9600 requires a 400W power supply that requires 26A on the 12V rail. Unlike previous mid-range GeForce cards, the D9M will require a 6-pin supplementary power connector, so get those power supplies upgraded if need be.
The 9600 GT’s core will be clocked at 650MHz and connect to memory over a 256-bit bus running at 900MHz, DailyTech notes. It’s not yet known how many unified-shader Stream Processors the chip will contain. A single GeForce 9600 video card requires a 400W power supply with 26A on the +12V rail.
