NVIDIA GeForce 372.90 WHQL Drivers Released For Forza Horizon 3
Forza Horizon 3 is now available to pre-load on PC and that “game-ready” drivers from both NVIDIA and AMD should be available today, September 21st. NVIDIA has just released GeForce Game Ready 372.90 WHQL drivers that have been thoroughly optimized for the release of Forza Horizon 3 Ultimate Edition tomorrow and all the other folks that didn’t buy that edition on September 27th. AMD hasn’t released their driver yet, but you should keep an eye out the AMD driver page for it.
Forza Horizon 3 is a racing video game set in an open world environment based in Australia, with the map said to be twice the size of the map in Forza Horizon 2, ranging from Surfers Paradise to Byron Bay. The game features a four-player co-operative multiplayer campaign. The game features cross-platform play, as it is a part of the Xbox Play Anywhere program. There will be over 350 cars present at the launch of the game.
Forza Horizon 3 will require a Windows 10 PCs due to needing the DirectX 12 API. Image quality settings are said to include the basics: full screen, vertical sync, and resolution adjustment. Advanced settings include quality adjustments to things motion blur, mirrors, reflection, static and dynamic geometry. A demo for Forza Horizon 3 is supposed to be coming out for PC, but not until after the game is released.
