Nintendo Switch Overwatch Case Leaks On Amazon

Blizzard has no port for Overwatch on the Switch right now. It appears that will soon change after an Overwatch-themed Switch case turned up on Amazon from PowerA. The case said that Nintendo and Blizzard officially licensed it.

The Switch case was pulled from the Amazon website shortly after it turned up, but the images were already captured and put online. Blizzard and Nintendo aren’t likely to launch an Overwatch case unless the game is being ported to the console.

Blizzard’s Jeff Kaplan said in the past that porting the game to the Switch was very challenging. If Amazon already has product pages ready to go for the console, the game launch can’t be far off. An announcement is expected to come in November at BlizzCon reports Polygon.

Kaplan said of porting Overwatch to the Switch in 2018, “I’m loving the Switch! My second favorite gaming platform of all time is the 3DS. Getting [Overwatch] on the Switch is very challenging for us. But we’re always open minded about exploring possible platforms.”
