Nintendo Switch Home Gaming System Revealed With NVIDIA Tegra Processor

Today Nintendo released a trailer with many surprises. What was expected to be the reveal of the anticipated Nintendo DX, Nintendo now introduces their next confirmed console with a new name, the Nintendo Switch. The recent reveal has yet to announce a price, but the release date stays the same as the Nintendo DX was expected to launch, March of 2017. The Nintendo Switch is powered by a custom NVIDIA Tegra processor, which means the console is using the same architecture as the worlds top-performing GeForce gaming graphics cards.

The reveal demonstrates the Nintendo Switch to be a home console as well as a portable gaming device, a hybrid of sorts with interchangeable controls to give the gamer the experience best suitable to them.
