Microsoft socred quire a coup when it lured the biggest streamer on Twitch away to its Mixer platform, that streamer is Tyler “Ninja” Blevins. Ninja announced this week that after only five days on the Mixer platform, he has already hit the 1 million subscriber mark.
Ninja tweeted, “Today we hit 1,000,000 active subscribers on mixer ^-^ thank you for all the incredible support. I haven’t felt this good in a long time.”
The big question in the minds of many is how long will those users stay on Mixer. Microsoft has given all subscribers to Ninja’s channel two free months on the service. After the two months is up, the service hikes up to a price of at least $5.99 per month to continue to receive exclusive perks reports Engadget.
Ninja is on a path to beat his record of landing 3 million subscribers on YouTube in a month. As of now, Ninja has about 22 million YouTube subscribers.
