Microsoft has announced some new configurations of the Surface Laptop 2 and Surface Pro 6 for business users in the US. Along with the new configurations, Microsoft is also expanding business sales for the devices to more regions.
Specifically, in Europe, commercial Microsoft partners can now sell certain configurations of the Surface Pro 6 and Surface Laptop 2 in Bulgaria, Croatia, Czech Republic, Estonia, Greece, Hungary, Latvia, Lithuania, Romania, Slovenia, and Slovakia. The devices available in those countries are aimed at business users and offered with the international English keyboard reports Thurrott.
Stateside, the new configurations for business users include the Core i5 model of the Surface Pro 6 and the Surface Laptop 2 offered with 16GB of RAM and 256GB of storage. Previously, to get 16GB of RAM buyers had to opt for the Core i7 versions.
Being able to get the extra RAM without moving up to the more expensive Core i7 will be a good thing for many businesses. For now, the new configurations are only offered in the US.
