Mushkin XP2-5300 3-3-3 Memory Review

Results:

With all three modules running 667MHz at 3-3-3-10 we ran our custom made Quake 4 demo five times and avereaged the scores. The results showed that 2GB of memory has a 3FPS gain in performance over our 1GB kit. It also showed that the Elpida IC’s that Mushkin is uses performs in par with the Micron Rev A’s (Fat Body) that Corsair is using on their modules.

Mushkin XP2-5300 3-3-3 Memory Review

Results:

In F.E.A.R. it was obvious that 2GB of system memory is the way to go as the 1GB kit of Corsair memory was left in the dust by the 2GB kit by Mushkin and Corsair. The difference between the Corsair and Mushkin kits at 667MHz (3-3-3-10) was not large enough to be significant.
