Microsoft and SingTel Strike Partnership

Microsoft Corporation and Singapore Telecommunications Limited (SingTel) today announced their collaboration to launch Windows Mobile-based devices enabled with ‘Live’ content. This first-of-its-kind service provides “live” info-tainment direct to customers on their mobile phones.

Together with content partners like AXN, Xbox, MSN and SingTel’s IDEAS, this live info-tainment will enable Singaporeans to truly be mobile. The service will be delivered via a continuous “crawler” or ticker on the home screen of Windows Mobile-based devices.
