Mario & Luigi: Superstar Saga + Bowser’s Minions Revealed at E3

By

Mario & Luigi: Superstar Saga + Bowsers Minions was announced by Nintendo during E3 and the game is a remake of an old school game that landed way back in 2003 for Game Boy Advance called Mario & Luigi: Superstar Saga. The new game is for the 3DS portable which made fans of the 3DS fearing Nintendo was going to neglect the portable in the face of the Switch very happy.

Superstar Saga + Bowsers Minions has enhanced visuals compared to the original game and also comes with a new campaign that will allow players to control the bad guys for a change. In this new campaign, players get to control Goombas who are set on rescuing Bowser from the clutches of good guy Mario.

We don’t know the full details of the remake, but we hope one of the cool features from the original will be included. That cool feature was the ability to control Mario and Luigi at the same time in a battle by using different buttons on the controller.

Presumably some of the cool characters from the original like Fawful will be featured. Fawful is memorable thanks in part to his broken English and the fact that he was meant to parody poorly translated RPGs. Mario & Luigi: Superstar Saga + Bowsers Minions is a turn-based RPG and will land for 3DS players on October 6 reports VentureBeat.
