Kingston Technology: PC demand to remain flat this quarter

By

The insiders at Kingston seem to think that PC demand this quarter will be lack luster again even with the upcoming holiday season right around the turn. While DRAM is slowing down right now NAND flash is really taking off thanks to all the new electronics that require memory chips!

Although industry observers pointed out that the companies reported the sequential revenue drop amid fewer working days in October than in September, Kingston predicted that overall PC demand this quarter should remain flat, though the company remains positive about the short term NAND flash outlook. In the upstream NAND flash market, demand for NAND flash is currently relatively vibrant, according to DRAMeXchange. Strong demand for NAND flash should persist through late November or through early December, DRAMeXchange added.
