Kingston Shows Off SSDNow SSD Powered By LSI SandForce SF3700 Controller

Kingston is at the LSI Accelerating Innovation Summit (AIS) 2013 and they showing off some Future SSDNow Solid-State Drives (SSDs) that got our attention. The highlight of their booth for us would certainly have to be an upcoming Kingston SSDNow 2.5-inch SSD and PCIe HHHL (half-height half-length) SSD that are both using the next-generation LSI SandForce SF3700 flash controller. Kingston had a demo setup where they were streaming 10 videos concurrently with the drives that looked pretty sweet. Kingston is hoping to launch LSI SandForce SF3700 products in 2014 with the promise of greater performance, reliability and higher capacities.
