Kingston Shows DDR4 RAM Modules at IDF 2013

By

Kingston is at Intel Developer Forum (IDF) in San Francisco showing off a demo system containing 12 DDR4 16 GB 2133 MHz modules totaling a massive 192 GB of system memory. The DDR4 standard has been finalized with each 288-pin module drawing 1.2 V of power compared to the DDR3 standard which draws 1.5 V.

Performance numbers weren’t shown, but this is a kind reminder of DDR4 memory’s upcoming mainstream adoption later in 2013.
