InnoDisk launching 800MB/sec PCI-e SSD Called Matador II

By

InnoDisk recently announced a new lineup of PCI-Express based SSDs it calls the Matador II Series. The Matador II high-speed storage solutions are capable of read and write speeds of up to 800MB/sec and 600MB/sec respectively thanks to the use of the PCI-E x8 interface. Capacities range from 128GB to 2TB, so InnoDisk has a speed demon in various drive sizes! No word on pricing, but we don’t think the 2TB version will be inexpensive.

InnoDisk PICe SSD adopts PCIe Gen.1×8 standard with bandwidth of 20Gb/sec when the biggest capacity can reach 2TB. In the meantime, it makes a breakthrough of data transfer speed of 800MB/sec (max.) for read and 600MB/sec (max.) for write. Moreover, the device offers internal RAID allocation function; users can choose to program it as one or more disks but keep performing the best still.
