Heroes of the Storm: D.Va is Our New Hero

With all the obsession over D.Va that started as soon as Blizzard’s Overwatch was released, weve seen a number of Overwatch heroes make their way into other games. For example: Baby Winston can be seen running through Azeroth and Draenor as a battle pet in World of Warcraft, and even Genji, Lucio, Zarya, and Tracer battling it out in Heroes of the Storm. Now, the newest addition to Heroes of the Storms newest hero lineup is D.Va. This announcement comes to us not too long after the release of Genji into the Heroes of the Storm universe.

In the video above, Genji begins by telling a story of his hardships as cherry blossoms fall and flow with the wind. When he fights Diablo and eventually gets pinned to a wall he remembers one thing: You do not have to fight alone. Immediately after, D.Va bursts into the room and fires at Diablo. The skills shown in this cinematic video are her Fusion Cannons (auto-attack) and Boosters (the jetpacks used by her Mech that allow her to fly with a boost of movement speed). There isnt much information in terms of her ultimate and Defense Matrix or if it will be used or changed for Heroes of the Storm but were at least left with the excitement that everyones favorite Overwatch hero will be joining us in Heroes of the Storm.

Coming from a background as a professional StarCraft player, Hana Song (D.Va) has gone from pro-gamer to Mech Pilot. Now, she has been recruited to fight by our side on the battlefield and soon we can expect to see her in Heroes of the Storm.
